We are a worshipping church. Our worship services include both contemporary and traditional styles of worship. Our contemporary service, each Sunday at 8:45 AM, offers a time of singing, scripture reading and listening to the Word, in an informal worship style. Our more traditional worship service at 11:00 AM offers the same elements of worship in a more traditional setting. Come and join us at one of our services.
We are a singing church. If you love to sing, there is a place for you in our adult choir or in one of the four youth and children's choirs that provide inspiration in worship. We also have a men's chorus in the spring. Would you like to ring handbells? We have two adult and one senior high bell choirs that are part of our joyous music program. Play an instrument? Our Worship Team of instrumentalist and singers provides the music for the contemporary service and additional instruments are often added to the music in our traditional service. For the very young, we have a pre-school music program for ages 18-36 months.
We are a teaching church. Our Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 AM and provide learning opportunities for children of all ages. In addition, we have four adult classes each quarter. There are evening and daytime Bible studies for adults, the CHOW program on Wednesday evenings for children and Vacation Bible School for our community in the summer.
We are a church with mission. We believe in helping others. Our youth and adult mission teams travel to Mexico; Virginia's Eastern Shore; Marion, VA; and to Florida and Mississippi to assist hurricane victims.
