"Being a Christian in a Post-Christian World
The world appears to be increasingly "not religious." Once-flourishing Christian institutions have become greatly marginalizes. Some say that the Church has retreated to the sidelines. Other say Christendom is dead and modern secularism is on the rise.
What is the Church to do?

The Rev. Sel Harris begins this study by examining the great Assyrian Church of the East, a Christian Church that flourished in the world of Islam. Future classes will examine the Renaissance, Protestant Reformation and the Enlightenment. These are the three great movements that influence who we are. The classes will conclude by looking at the 21st century with special attention placed on the Christian Church in the developing world.

"Simply Christian, Why Christianity Makes Sense"
Dan Duquette and Jacque Camlet will lead a class based on the book
by N.T. Wright as titled above.
Have you ever wondered why humans in all places and times have yearned for beauty, truth, spirituality and justice? Dr. Wright contends that it is because we hear the echoes of God's voice -- the same God who created the world and who is known through worship, prayer, scripture and the church that leads to life that is full and abundant. The class format will be to watch a video and
discuss questions related to each lesson.
