Nursery: We offer Nursery care for children newborn
to 36 months in Rm.120, 8:30 AM -11:30 AM. Our paid staff of certified nursery care workers provide a loving, nurturing, safe, and engaging environment with supervision
for our youngest members and visitors. Our Nursery workers are committed Christians who embody our church mission statement, “Abiding in Christ: Sent to Grow, Shine, and Love.” They are committed to service and are motivated to serve because of a commitment to Christ and a desire to minister to God’s children with a loving attitude. A genuine love for children must dominate the nursery worker’s attitudes, thoughts, and actions. A child senses whether or not a loving person is caring for them. They will develop a sense of trust, as they feel secure in the caretaker’s love. This position requires a satisfactory background check and have Current CPR and First Aid Certifications.
Children’s Church: During 11:00 AM Worship Service All children ages 3 through Kindergarten are
invited to Children’s Church in the High School Room (Room 102) after the
message and can be picked up there after worship.Children have the unique opportunity to have their own class following the Message for Young Disciples. It is taught by a core group of volunteer teachers who share Jesus’s love with the children.
Sunday morning is a special time for faith formation at KGPC! This year, we are using the DWELL Curriculum for faith formation.

Following the 11:00AM worship service, children will gather in the Fellowship Hall to eat lunch. We will then play interactive games, sing some worship songs, and have a focused Biblical lesson that will engage children in age appropriate ways.
Backyard Kid’s Club: Concrete and CranesThis summer kids will discover that Jesus’ love provides a foundation that lasts. They’ll learn to be wise builders who continue in what they’ve learned and firmly believe. And they will discover that God who began a good work in them will be faithful to carry it on to completion. Join us July 26 and 27, or July 28 and 29 from 9-11AM for a two-day, limited participant, outdoor, Vacation Bible School experience. We are taking your child’s safety seriously, so we are limiting the number of people who will be able to participate, which is why we are splitting our program into two days. No snack will be served.

Scouts of America- Boy Scout Troop 419 is chartered and sponsored by KGPC. In Scouting, boys start with their best "right now selves" and grow into their "very best future selves". It’s fun,
hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action
and prepares them for today – and for life. If you have a boy between the ages
of 11 and 18 who is interested in Scouting, we’re excited to have him visit our
troop! Scouts meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM outside/in the church Fellowship Hall when inclement weather. You don’t have to belong to the church to join. If
you have a Scout or potential Scout who is interested, contact the Scoutmaster,
