Is God Calling You to Service? This church has been blessed down through the years with a high quality and abundance of Church School Teachers. Several of them have indicated this spring that they sense God leading them to different areas of ministry beginning in the fall. This means that the Christian Education Ministry can announce we have openings for Church School teachers at every grade level.

What does this entail? We must have a minimum of 2 and try to get 3 teachers for each of our primary/elementary classes. This allows one teacher to rotate out each quarter to attend adult education class - although in some cases, the teachers have decided to all be there all the time and develop a wonderful small group ministry among themselves!

Church School begins with Rally Day, Sept 8th and will continue through June 8th. We meet from 9:30 to 10:40 am. There is a curriculum in place, Bible Quest. Most of our classes have a potential of 5 - 8 students, although some run a bit larger.

What qualifications do you need? First and foremost, we believe you must sense God's call to this ministry. So please begin to pray about it. If your have questions, please call the church office 340-2840/486-0339. Secondly, you must love children and want to share your time, talents and emotional energy with them.

Members of the Christian Education Ministry will begin making phone calls in mid-July. If you know that this is where God is calling you - we would love to hear from you any time! We are always looking for fresh ideas - so even if you don't feel called to teach, but want to serve on the ministry, just let the church office know.
