To
the members of King's Grant Presbyterian Church:
King's Grant Elementary School is truly blessed
by the community spirit and commitment from our
members of KGPC. Many children at our school benefited
from the one-on-one attention these our members
provided in the area of reading over the past
year. They consistently met with our students
and shared their love for reading and books with
them. The entire staff at King's Grant would like
to thank your church for your commitment to the
children at our school. We welcome volunteers.
Sincerely
yours, Linda Sidone, Principal King's
Grant Elementary
Students
need you! Won't you please come and
read with us? If you have an hour or two once
or twice a week to volunteer at the school, please
call the church office for details.
Service
Opportunity For TEENS:
Would you be willing to baby-sit for Fellowship
Dinners? This is a stewardship opportunity (not
a paid position). Also, if we can arrange a baby-sitting
course, would you be interested in participating?
If you would please contact the Church Office
(340-2840) for more information.
HABITAT
FOR HUMANITY: King's Grant Presbyterian
is a member of the Va. Beach Covenant of Habitat
for Humanity. The VB Covenant meets the 2nd Thursday
of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., rotating
its monthly meeting location between the participating
churches. If you think you might like to become
the KGPC liaison for this ongoing ministry of
service or are simply interested in participating
in a build, please contact the church office 340-2840
and plan to attend the next meeting to get the
most current information. There is a current build
in process on Bonney Road. Volunteers are always
needed, and groups of volunteers are heartily
welcomed. The subsequent build is scheduled to
occur this fall and will be located on Rosemont
Road. The website has a volunteer form which can
be filled out and sent electronically to the Volunteer
Coordinator.
