Worship and Music

Contemporary WorshipWorship is central to our lives. You can help in worship planning by becoming a member of our Worship and Music Ministry. Share your gifts

The Worship Ministry meets the second Monday of the month
(see our calendar for times).

WORSHIP is central to our lives. It is that time when, regardless of what else is going on in our lives, we put it all aside and come together for a single purpose -- to worship our Lord. In worship we find common bonds. With one mind and one heart, we publicly proclaim our faith, give God our tanks, praise and adoration, confess our sin, pray for each other, and receive teaching and encouragement from the Bible for our spiritual growth.

King's Grant Presbyterian Church has two Sunday morning worship services --- an 8:45 am Contemporary Service an an 11:00 am Traditional Service. Several Sundays during the year there is one 11:00 am service for the entire congregation of faith to worship together, including Christmas, Easter, New Consecration Sunday, and Youth Sunday. From mid-June to Labor Day, summer worship is a single service at 10:00 am. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month at all services. See the calendar for Worship Times on any given Sunday.

The Worship and Music Ministry (Don Bradway, Moderator) is responsible for all aspects of the worship and music life of the church. Working with the pastor, the Ministry not only coordinates the details of the Sunday service, but plans and executes special worship opportunities throughout the year
