Youth Choirs and Handbells

The King's Grant Presbyterian Church music program offers four youth choirs and a handbell program for young people from age 3 to high school. These programs are led by Janet Phelps, Music Director and Claudia Moorad, Assistant Music Director. The choirs are open to all youth interested in singing or learning to ring bells. Each choir meets once a week for practice and helps provide music for the Traditional service on a scheduled basis. |
The Cherub Choir
Youngsters age 3, 4 and 5 year olds are invited to join this choir, which meets Wednesdays from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Claudia Moorad directs the choir. Choir practice will begin again on February 3rd.

The Rainbow Choir
Children from Kindergarden to 3rd grades participate in one section of this choir, while children from 4th and 5th grade participate in another section. The younger children will meet together on on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6 p.m. beginning on February3rd. Claudia Moorad is the director.

The Hallelujah Singers
Young people from 6th grade to 12th grade may join this choir lead by Janet Phelps. The choir meets Thursdays at 6:30 to 7:15 p.m..

Youth Handbells
Learn the art of handbell ringing in this choir for 6th to 12th grades. Doris Van Auken leads this choir which meets Wednesday from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m., beginning again on February 3rd.
